PhantomGrid collects your GPS location while you are actively using the app to track circuit completions and verify your route. Location data is used solely for timing and leaderboard verification purposes. We do not sell your location data to third parties.
When you create an account, we collect your username, display name, and optionally your email address. Your password is securely hashed using bcrypt and is never stored in plaintext.
If you subscribe to PhantomGrid Premium, payment processing is handled by Apple through the App Store. We receive confirmation of your subscription status from Apple but do not store your payment card details.
We may collect device type, OS version, and push notification token to deliver app functionality and notifications.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymized, aggregated statistics (such as total circuit completions) publicly. Your username and circuit times are visible to other users on leaderboards.
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is anonymized immediately and permanently removed within 30 days.
We use industry-standard security measures including JWT authentication, HTTPS encryption, and bcrypt password hashing to protect your data. While no system is completely secure, we take reasonable measures to safeguard your information.
PhantomGrid is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email.
